
Dr. Christopher L. Heffner, Director of the PsyTech Lab at Antioch University Seattle, has been elected President-Elect of the American Psychological Association’s Division 46 (Society for Media Psychology and Technology).
Division 46 is the leading voice at the intersection of psychology, media, and technology—advancing research, ethics, and innovation in a rapidly evolving digital world. As President-Elect, Dr. Heffner will help guide the division’s vision over the next three years, focusing on responsible engagement with technology and promoting media that supports mental health and well-being.
Dr. Heffner previously served as Co-Chair of the Division 46 APA Convention Programs in both 2025 and 2026. His leadership continues to reflect the PsyTech Lab’s mission of helping individuals, families, and communities thrive in a media-driven world.
